A few months ago the team at Clever One Pot sent me their cook book to review. I’ve had it for a while now and can categorically say that it’s now the first cook book I go to when looking for a quick week night supper.
The concept of the cook book is simple, every recipe can be made in one pot. It includes everything from soups and starters, to curries, meat dishes and desserts. It’s also simply laid out so you can fathom what you’re doing and get cooking quickly without having to read through pages of text. It’s not trying to be complicated or fussy…. It’s a cook’s friend, there to make life easier, and I’ve made a few dishes from it so far. My favourites being the kidney bean curry, Thai style pork and plum crumble.
Although the finish of the book isn’t incredible (wire bound and gloss paper), i’d still give it a 8/10 due to its lovely photography and ease of use. If you’re starting out on your cooking journey I would most certainly recommend it, and it’s a steal at just £7.99. You can buy it here.
