Today I’m excited to tell you about Lurpak Bake Club. If you haven’t visited their site already, each month they invite a foodie figurehead to submit a recipe and set a challenge for budding bakers across the UK. Why am I so excited – I hear you ask? Well, I was invited to be the ‘foodie figurehead’ for this months challenge, alongside the likes of some top notch bakers. It’s a great way to kick start the second half of My Food Challenge, don’t you think? I’m honoured to have been selected.
There was much debate in selecting a muffin recipe to submit. Rather than go for a standard sweet muffin, I raided my fridge and produced some vegetables and cheese to make a savoury one… Who doesn’t love the combination of courgette and feta? I know I do.
Muffins are so versatile – you can make anything from a cheesy breakfast muffin to an indulgent chocolatey dessert one… the power of muffin perfection is in your hands.
