Today’s blog post was born out of a Twitter conversation I had with some lovely chaps/chapettes I used to work in an office next to, in Sheffield. What started as a minor techy issue, soon became a conversation about tea – I bloomin’ love the stuff, and it turns out the team at Resolve IT love it too!
My Mac was be very sloooow today at work, so I tweeted and said, ‘wouldn’t it be great if we could feed technology tea and cake to make them behave’ (if only). Resolve IT responded, and agreed, then went on to tell me how much tea they drank last year. A mathematical whizz had taken time out of their day to calculate it… how amazing!? In total, their office sipped and slurped their way through 7920 cups of the stuff… that’s enough to fill an 8 person hot tub. I love it!
However, Resolve’s Director Andrew went on to tweet me a picture of their teapot. By the sounds of it, their tea pot makes a smashing cuppa – but it’s brown. When I say brown, I mean it’s really brown.
In Andrew’s Tweet he said that it’s a pity it’s such a boring colour. I agree, this treasured teapot, a fountain of over 7000 cups of tea, needs brightening up for the summer months (and their colleague Joe agrees) so here’s some tea cosy suggestions for you, and the Resolve IT team!
The sleepy mexican tea cosy
Yorkshire tea deserves a Yorkshire tea cosy!
The chaps at Resolve are proud to be Yorkshire, and only drink Yorkshire tea – this was the most Yorkshire tea cosy I could find. Isn’t it pretty?
Hope I’ve inspired you to brighten up your beloved teapots :).
